WHO WE ARE
Hier Drilling Co
began in the fall of 1944, as Hier & Price Drilling Contractors, by Archie Hier and Art Price. In 1972, the company split with Ralph Norden taking on the pump service, JA Price handling the deep industrial type work, leaving Hier Drilling Co to specialize in the domestic and household wells.
In 1973, Archie's son, George, took the reins of the office and added his children Bruce Hier and Robbie Person to the company during the mid-1980s. Since then, George has retired and handed the company down into the trusting hands of Bruce and Robbie, beginning the third generation of family ownership.

A More Recent History...
In 2008, Hier Drilling Co purchased Norden Pump Service, making us once again a full service well drilling, pump installation, and service company. We pride ourselves in being able to help people in every step of the drilling process, from acquiring permits all the way through the completion of the well and pump system.
Licensed and Ready
We are licensed and bonded through the Colorado Division of Water Resources and proudly hold the 2nd oldest active license in the state. We are members of the Colorado Water Well Contractors Association, the National Ground Water Association, and the Castle Rock Chamber of Commerce.
